Coupons are discount codes made of numbers and/or letters – and are used by shoppers to receive a price reduction on their online purchase. By sharing coupons, you are giving your audience additional motivation to buy so you’ll improve your sales numbers!
2 types of coupons you should know about:

- Promo Codes also give your audience an exclusive discount when they use them at check out. But these codes must be shared with your tracking link to work! Learn more in our video entitled – Earn More with Promo Codes.
How does it work?
First, the Affiliate promotes a coupon on their website or social channels. If it’s a tracked coupon – they promote only with code. If it’s promo code – the affiliate promotes the code with their tracking link.
Second, customers use the code at the checkout page for a discount.
Third, conversions are tracked by the link or code – and lastly, the affiliate gets paid a commission for every purchase made.
